1) Update on growth and staff changes. With some of the growth we've seen the past few months we've needed to make some staff adjustments. In the past few months we've added Cam Walters (Director of Worship Arts), Samantha Thompson (Executive Director of Ministries), and Matt Montgomery (Director of Discipleship) all as part-time staff. This has made a huge difference in how our church functions. I'm so excited and thankful for all our elders, staff, and ministry leaders.

2) Encouragement to join one of our volunteer teams. Along with the growth there's been a need to have more people get involved. There are a lot of ways to can get involved but the two most pressing are Kids Ministry and Tech (audio, video, lights). Although plugging in anywhere is a huge help and great way to serve the body.

3) Status report on giving and NEXT Campaign. Next, Justin Beale gave a report on the finances of the church. He reminded us that the business team are not just "bean counters" but they have a responsibility to make sure we're stewarding God's resources well and always keeping in mind a ministry focus.

4) Update on new building progress. We have great news to share... on November 14, we received site plan approval for our new building! This means we can continue taking steps forward with some of the things we'd like to do with the building. There are still many steps and things to do, but this is a big one. Our next big update is December 3 where we hope to share more details about the site plan, building plans, and some projected timelines. This is exciting stuff!
